What is this website and what can it do for me?

Dukespost is a national online classifieds posting website for pets and animal related products and services. We strive to provide the easiest posting system to any and everyone. There are no registering requirements to post on our site. To post, simply choose a city and category and provide a description of what products or services you are selling. You may also list pets that you are trying to find a home for or items that you are giving away for free. Our quick contact system is set up so that your contact information including your email address are kept private. If you would like your contact info to be listed you may do so in the description box.

What should I do to ensure that I receive emails from interested people who use the quick contact form on my post as well as the confirmation email from Dukespost that contains the link to edit/delete my post?

Some email servers such as Yahoo.com filter out automatically generated emails like the ones sent through Dukespost. If you use Yahoo or any other email server that filters out automatically gnerated emails we strongly recommend that you add contact@dukespost.com to your Address Book/Contacts List in your email box. This will ensure that responses from interested people who view your post and contact you will arrive in your inbox. Make sure to check your spam/bulk folder as well for any emails from Dukespost. You can be assured that your email address is safe at Dukespost.com. We do not send spam or unwanted emails ever and we keep all email addresses private from third party companies. We do not give away or sell our email lists ever.

Where do I post if my city is not listed?

If your specific city, town, or area is not listed under your state you may click "suggest a city" under your state page. You may also post under a city near your hometown. Unfortunately we are not able to list every city in a state. To maximize the number of people who view your post, it is beneficial to post to the nearest larger city we have listed.

How many posts can I make and how long will they stay listed on the site?

You are free to make as many posts as you would like but you are limited to only making duplicate posts twice in the same state in every category except "puppies for sale". You are allowed to make as many duplicates as you would like in the "puppies for sale" category. Making copies or "stacking" in every category(except "puppies for sale")or city will cause your posts to be deleted. Legitimate posts will be deleted after 60 days.

How do people contact me if my personal information is not listed?

At Dukespost your personal information including your name, phone number, address, and email are kept private unless you would like to provide it in the description box for people to view. People will be able to contact you through the form on the right of your listing. An email will then be sent to your inbox. We strongly recommend that you add contact@dukespost.com to your Address Book/Contacts in your email box.

What do I do when I go to upload pictures and an error message appears?

Dukespost.com allows its customers to upload 1 to 4 pictures on every post. Our website will only allow proper picture files to be uploaded. Jpeg. picture files work best. Please resize your pictures so they are not too large. An error message will appear if you try to upload pictures that are too big. Make sure each picture is below 500 kb. in size. If you try to upload photos that are the proper size and file type, and an error message still appears, please send your photos to contact@dukespost.com and we will upload them for you. You can upload pictures when making a post or after the post has been made by clicking the edit link that you receive in your email.

How can I search puppies and kittens by breed or all listings on a national level?

When first viewing Dukespost.com you will see "all states" listed at the top. By choosing a category on this homepage it will allow you to view all animals, products and services on the website. Looking under puppies or kittens for sale you may choose a specific breed from the scroll down to narrow your search. You may choose a state and city to view listings on a city level.

What does it cost to use this site and make a post?

Dukespost.com charges a flat fee of $20 to make a single post under "puppies for sale". Your listing will be placed under the city and state you choose as well as under the "all states" page so people can search on a city, state, and national level. You may make duplicate posts as well for $20 for each additional post. Every other category is free to post under and the entire site is free to view. If you place a post under the wrong category we will inform you of the mistake and remove the post.

What should I do if I do not get any responses after making a post?

Make sure to check for any emails from contact@dukespost.com in your spam/bulk folder.

What should I write in the contact info box when contacting a seller?

Be specific and be sure to give a good description of what animal, product, or service you are interested in when you fill out the contact info because some people have listed more than one item.

How can I make an active link within my description text?

To include an active link within your description post you must type HTML code in order for the word(s) to be a hyperlink. This is an example:
